Open Eindhoven Muaythai Cup 2021
Rules and Regulations
Due to the pandemic of Covid 19 strict measures shall be observed before,
during and after the competition.
Below regulations are obligatory for each participant of the competition.
Physical distancing is required for participants and spectators of the event
at all sites and venues (e.g., on the bench, in locker rooms, attending team
meetings, and other similar situations).
Participants are not allowed to enter venues if they are experiencing
symptoms of COVID-19.
All participants are required to adhere to hygiene and social distancing
instructions, should not cluster at entry or exit points, observe signage and
markings that promote social distancing.
All participants are required to wear face coverings at all times in the venue
and crowded areas.
Daily health check will be carried out for competitors
Physical (at least 1 meter) separating of competitors, officials, spectators
and support staff should be maintained at the venue.
Thorough disinfection and cleaning after/between bouts/competitions will
be made for competition equipment
Sharing of equipment is prohibited, in particular ensuring that water bottles
and cups are not shared
Ensure safe utilization of the closed containers for all disposable and
reusable hygiene materials (e.g. tissue, towels, etc.).
An isolation room/space identified to hold any symptomatic person found
at the venue while awaiting patient transport to a medical facility will be
set up at the venue.
Availability to handwashing, alcohol- based hand gel and hygiene facilities
at multiple locations in the event facility and accommodation will be
provided for all participants.
Staff at venues will check competitors’ temperatures each day, any
temperatures above 38°C will be reported to the event medical lead/chief
medical officer.
Anyone participating in the event (athlete, volunteer, official, food handler
etc.) should proactively and regularly check their health status (including
taking their temperature, and monitoring for any symptoms).
Each participant should wash hands often with soap and water. Use an
alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water not available.

Deadline for the registration is 28 August.
All participants are obliged to obtain accreditation in order to
enter the event. The accreditation includes pick up from the
airport, accommodation (4nights), set of uniform, breakfast in
hotel.

Accreditation Fee
Athletes:
300 USD (245 EUR) - accommodation in twin room
Officials:
270 USD (220 EUR) - accommodation in twin room
430 USD (352 EUR) - accommodation in single room
20 USD IFMA membership fee will be added for those athletes
with expired membership.
Please Note
The registration will only be available to clubs. The clubs will
need to register their teams.
Clubs need to creat a profile on IFMA Registration platform
Rsportz to register their participants.
Refund/Cancellation Policy
Cancelations made after 28 August will incur a 100% charge.
Cancelations made prior 28 August will incur a 10% charge.

Athlete Eligibility
The 2021 IFMA/EMF Open Eindhoven Muaythai Cup 2021
are open to all athletes that satisfy the following eligibility
criteria. Entries are accepted from any club which is a member
of national federation affiliated to IFMA. In countries where
there does not yet exist a member National Federation, IFMA
reserves the right to accept entries on a basis of special
invitation.
Athlete eligibility: All competitors must satisfy the following
conditions to be considered an “eligible athlete”:
A contestant in the Senior Elite Male or Senior Female Division
must be at least 17 years old, but not more than 40 years old.
A contestant in the Under 23 Male or Under 23 Female Division
must be at least 17 years old, but not more than 40 years old.

Changing Weight Divisions
On the morning of the official weigh-in, if a contestant finds his/her
weight above the previous declared weight, he/she is permitted to
move up to a higher weight division.
Drawing of Names
The Draw will be carried out after the final Official Medical Check-up
and Weigh-in. During this, the team manager or coach or a selected
representative from each country must be present.
Appearance of Contestant
A contestant participating in the event must wear the official IFMA
uniform shorts and sleeveless shirt in red or blue, according to
his/her corner. The contestant must wear a Mongkol (sacred
headband) during the Wai Kru before the fight. An amulet may be
worn around the upper arm or wrist but must be neatly covered. The
contestant must wear the standard head- guard, gloves, shin guard
and elbow guard as provided by the Organizing Committee. No
others may be substituted. Contestants are required to wear their
own groin-guard (male & female), breast protection (female only) &
gum-shields. Toenails must be short.
Conduct
All athletes and officials must behave accordingly to the IFMA code
of ethics (See - https://muaythai.sport/codes-policies/) and code of
conduct (see - https://muaythai.sport/codes-policies/) - as a good
sportsman and follow the rules and regulations as laid out.
Contestants and officials will be penalised for any violations.
Anti-Doping
Every athlete of the event may be subject to a doping test.
Ringside Doctor
There shall always be a doctor ringside. One doctor will be appointed
as Chairman.
Awards and Prizes
In each division, the winner of the Final bout will be the Champion
and awarded with the Gold medal. The other finalist will receive the
Silver medal and 2 Bronze medals will be awarded to the 2 semifinalists.
